Utilizing the average stand value derived from these samples, the app estimates the expected percent yield at harvest, both with and without the consideration of spring replanting.

Farmers can leverage these calculated values alongside their economic assessments to evaluate the feasibility of spring replanting in their operations. Additionally, for users located within Wisconsin, the app provides historical median frost dates pertinent to the nearest township, aiding in informed decision-making.

To collect field samples, users have the option of manually counting plants in measured rows or utilizing the iPhone's camera feature for automated counting.
